    Release Notes: This release adds fixes for MP3 resampling problems, better handling of newly-added tracks, proper symlink handling, better support of the mkisofs options, an option for adding hidden files, backup permissions in data projects, support for symlinks in fstab, a progress display in the K3b titlebar, and better progress display in systray.

      Release Notes: New artwork was added. Device handling was improved and SCSI-bus/ID/LUN detection was fixed. CDDB support was enhanced with HTTP with proxy support, CDDBP, and local directory support. Ripping patterns and DVD ripping were enhanced. DivX/XviD encoding was added. Problems with very long filenames and Joliet were fixed. Id3lib is no longer required. libmad was added to the source tree.

          Release Notes: This is the first KDE3 release. It has setup, an integrated audio player; and can copy data, audio, and mixed mode CDs. There is better MP3 support with the MAD library, fixed symlink handling, multisession support, and enhanced medium detection and information display. CDDB information about ripped files will be saved and used for CD-TEXT when adding them to an audio project. Ripping of DVDs is in early development stage. The German translation is almost finished.

            Release Notes: A bug that caused K3b not to compile on some systems (mainly Mandrake) has been fixed, as well as problems with the writing of audio CDs.

              Release Notes: This release has audio on-the-fly burning (even corrupted MP3-files), saving/loading of projects, ATIP and TOC info, CD ripping (WAV) with extended pattern support, CDDB support, the ability to play audio CDs, an extended option dialog, the ability to hide the first track on audio CDs, detection of IDE devices as CD-ROMs, blanking of CD-RWs, writing of existing ISO images, optional setting of the cdrdao driver for every SCSI device, and the ability to burn in the background (it's even possible to write on two writers simultaneously, or write a CD and create an image at the same time).
