Monaural Jerk

Monaural Jerk is a journal or "weblog" system that allows single or multiple authors to easily post content to a Web site. Many standard weblog features have already been implemented including organization of content into (multiple) categories, pagination, calendar-based navigation, "edit this page", "send this to a friend", searching, syndication, and more.

    Release Notes: The major features of this release include trackback ping generation, HTTP_REFERER tracking, and search-engine term tracking. Numerous other bugfixes and enhancements were made.

      Release Notes: Syndication was improved by fixing RDF 1.0 and adding RSS 2.0. The templating system was improved by allowing channel-specific content, and is now suitable for Google AdSense ads. Miscellaneous fixes were made. Admin UI improvements and documentation improvements were made.

        Release Notes: This release divorces code from content. Site design is now controlled via templates and CSS; no code modifications are necessary. The administration scripts (for editing content) have been replaced and dramatically improved. Many other features have been added.

          Release Notes: This release addresses all known bugs from 0.4, namely display errors related to media-review items. This upgrade is recommended for all users of monaural jerk. See the changelog for details.
