Jimm is an ICQ clone for mobile devices, such as cellular phones. It is written in Java 2 Micro Edition (MIDP) and uses protocol version 8. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by ICQ, Inc.

    Release Notes: This major release contains a lot new features and many bugfixes. All users are encouraged to upgrade.

      Release Notes: Some new features, such as support for status messages ("I'm out with the dog"), graphical smilies, and a simple copy/paste function. Several UI/usability improvements, such improved navigation in chat window. Several bugs have been fixed.

        Release Notes: This release includes many bugfixes, enhancements, and also some new features, such as a persistent message history and file explorer. New builds for Motorola and Siemens devices are introduced.

          Release Notes: It's now possible to add new groups. Users of the Nokia 6230 can now set the connection delay in the network menu. The program asks the user before exiting if unread messages exist. This release also contains some bugfixes.

            Release Notes: This release includes many bugfixes and UI improvements, along with several new features. The new file transfer function allows you to send pictures and files to other ICQ clients. The contact list and chat history has been revised, both in design and implementation, and group support has been added. Sound capabilities have been improved (MP3 support on MIDP2 devices, and volume settings).

            I have read about jimm constructors here ( But I did not find anything simular on offical site. Just web download assistant, but it's not 100% what I saw. Where I can find this constructor? Thanks
