hymn (Hear Your Music aNywhere) makes it possible to free your iTunes Music Store purchases from their DRM restrictions with no sound quality loss. These songs can then be played outside of the iTunes environment, even on operating systems not supported by iTunes.

    Release Notes: Major bugs that were introduced in 0.7.0 with regards to processing the MPEG 4 AAC audio stream were fixed.

      Release Notes: This release fixes files produced by previous versions that no longer work in new versions of iTunes. A target folder option was added to the Cocoa UI.

        Release Notes: This version now works with iTunes 4.6, and it now works with multiple devices on the FireWire bus (on Mac OS X).

          Release Notes: The project was renamed to "hymn" to avoid any possible trademark violations. The code was rewritten to remove the dependency on mp4ff and mp4v2, and all meta-data, including the Apple ID of the song purchaser, is left intact in the output files. This fixed all outstanding meta-data related bugs.

            Release Notes: The command-line version now supports batch mode. The Cocoa UI now has support for multiple drag-'n'-drops. A native Win32 executable is now available. Bogus output files are no longer created; playfair will exit gracefully if a proper key cannot be found.
