HTML Slide generator

HTML Slide Generator is a Linux-only script written in Perl, which automates the creation of HTML slideshows for your images, and the creation of HTML static pages (suitable both for your site and your CDs). You are able to add a comment to each image, and customize templates with specific tags (3 templates out of the box included). Thumbnails for the index page are automatically created, are you there is the possibility to enable (or not) automatic slideshow.

    Release Notes: You can now define your image's max display size. They will not be modified, but be displayed in different dimensions if they are too big. This is very useful if you take 1600x1200 digital photos.

      Release Notes: Fixed a bug that caused some errors when the images where positioned in a directory whose name contained spaces. You can now choose (if you want) a different separator for index.txt (other than which is not present on some keyboards). Fixed a bug in blue template, which caused an error if you positioned the template in the dir prog_inst_dir/templates/ (not if you positioned it in ~/.htmlslide/templates/).

        Release Notes: Fixed a bug that preveted the insertion of graphics in templates. Added a new template.
