    Release Notes: This release adds support for AMD vector extensions. In hpcrun, there is an API for the application to start and stop sampling, an I/O sample source to count the number of bytes read and written, and a Global Arrays sample source. A problem with GNU binutils on 64-bit PowerPC that caused performance data to be misattributed because function "D" symbols were overlooked has been fixed. In hpctraceviewer, support has been added for filtering out threads and processes that are not of interest. There are other enhancements and bugfixes.

        Release Notes: This release adds full support for analyzing 64-bit Linux-POWER7 binaries. To profile/trace large-scale executions, support has been added for sampling processes to measure. Bugfixes.

            Release Notes: Ported to Opteron/Linux, IA-64/Linux, Alpha/OSF/1, and IRIX64/MIPS. The csprof and load module dumper utilities have been added. Support has been added for group scopes. There is better support for threads and forks. Performance tuning on assorted modules. Support for binaries produces by Sun's compilers. Updated to operate with newer versions of GCC and binutils. Basic support for Alpha relocatable shared libraries. Improved documentation. DSO support has been added to the LoadModule classes. Updated to handle abnormal debug information. Many bugfixes.
