Hanzi Quiz randomly generates multiple-choice questions from a list containing Hanzi (Chinese characters), Pinyin (pronunciation), and English. Questions and choices can be from any category.

    Release Notes: This version now keeps track of the answers to recently-asked questions and avoids presenting them as choices for subsequent questions. It also now works with Mac IE.

      Release Notes: This is a major re-write of Hanzi Quiz which takes advantage of the features of DHTML and Unicode. It shows Pinyin with tone marks instead of the ASCII hack of using tone numbers, and it includes both simplified and traditional Hanzi as categories.

          Release Notes: Separate lists of one-character and two-character hanzi so that the length of the pinyin choices always match the hanzi, mixing questions from the two lists, display of timing information to encourage you to think quickly, and display of a table of the ones you missed at the end of the quiz.
