GUJ Chat

GujChat is a chat server management system which can manage different chat servers, each one serving different rooms. A single GujChat installation is capable of serving diverse Webmasters with different templates, rooms and configurations. GujChat is completely multi-lingual and can be installed under any Servlet API 2.2 (or newer) compliant servlet container.

    Release Notes: Support for Tomcat 4.1.x has been improved. All of the code now uses the DAO pattern to read and save data, which will make it easier to add database support in a future version. Loads of bugs have been corrected, including the ones which prevented it from running in Tomcat 4.1+. The documentation was improved.

      Release Notes: This release features improvements for installation (new graphical self-installers) and chat users (room categories, new templates, and easier to change languages). New administration options were added: ban user, remove, and copy language, and there are new log files. Dozens of bugs were corrected.

        Release Notes: A complete new language system was implemented, which makes it easier to work with the system. Some cosmetic changes were made in the rooms and some management sessions. A new mapping has been created (/chat/instance) in order to make it easier to create a chat link. The app path has been changed to use its own directories. Instance management is not saved automatically, and lots of bugs have been fixed.
