GTorrentViewer is a GTK2-based viewer and editor for BitTorrent meta files. It is able to retrieve information from trackers, check files, show detailed information, and modify .torrent files without having to start downloading. It also features the ability to get seeds and peers for the open torrent and see information from the scrape system of the trackers.

    Release Notes: Some problems with large file support were fixed. A bug where the Open toolbar button remained disabled after trying to open an invalid file was fixed.

      Release Notes: This release fixes bugs in 0.2: the gtv binary was named identically to the smpeg-gtv binary file. The files tab locked up when files were bigger than 2GB (the limit is now set to 4GB per file). An ugly toolbar line that appeared with some GTK window themes has been fixed.

        Release Notes: The dependencies on libglade and libssl were removed. It is now possible to open torrent files with drag and drop and the progress of a file's pieces after checking the file.
