GoFun is an implementation of the Desktop Entry Specification found at It manages Icons that represent applications, links, and devices. So it is a desktop itself and can be used to start regularly needed applications and maintenance tasks. It is more than an application launcher, since it has many multimedia features and allows you to have a personalized desktop.

    Release Notes: This release features countless bugfixes, stability improvements, and improvements to the user interface. It features gcc4 compatibility and general compile fixes. It adds shortcuts, auto-icon-finding, and the ability to emit new XServer special options. Much work under the hood, providing for a cleaner and more flexible codebase, has been done.

      Release Notes: This release features many improvements across the board, new features (like staying in the console after the application ends), and uncountable bugfixes. The source was prepared and refactored for future advances. The NewXServer-Widget is a lot better. New icons have been added.

        Release Notes: This release features many improvements, like better device settings, and fixes bugs. Some code restructuring and cleanup was done. Updating is highly recommended.
