    Release Notes: For Windows users, there is now a menu to start the administration mode of GCompris. There is a 30 second delay between startup instances of GCompris, whether admin or normal. There are minor fixes over BETA2 for GNU/Linux users.

      Release Notes: A new activity: a mini word processor with styles. A new scale activity. A new chat activity on the local network. The submarine now has a goal. An improved sound effect when there are many activities. Display of children usage in the administration section.

        Release Notes: Two annoying bugs in animation and drawing were fixed. It's now easy to move text by using its anchor. The DEL key now works. missing Somali voices were added. Electricity was fixed to work on any gnucap release. The shape type activity now uses gettext for titles.

          Release Notes: Quitting the gnumch or searace activity no longer crashes GCompris. This release can save the configuration file even when users have non-ASCII login names. New interrupt audio makes audio memory and melody activities much more pleasant to play. Translation updates (Arabic, Marathi, and Portuguese Brazilian).

            Release Notes: This release adds a Somali translation and voices. A large review of the way sounds are handled has been done. Clickgame (click on the fish) has been improved. The clock activity now handles turns like a real analog clock. In shapegame, the green dot is now reset properly. A non-relative call to bindtextdomain() has been fixed. It was breaking translation with autopackage.

              Release Notes: This release includes a large number of bugfixes and several new geography maps. There are updated translations and new voices for Indian Marathi. The internal API has been reviewed for clarification. The Windows version has been updated; it is now possible to run the Python coded activity on Windows.

                Release Notes: A lot of internal changes were done to make GCompris easier to package and install. The code was cleaned up to remove all warnings. Warnings are no longer allowed at compile time. An autopackage (which can be installed on multiple distributions) was created. An experimental book reading activity based on the graphical art of Josef Vybiral was added.

                  Release Notes: A new menu system was added. A new magic hat activity was added. A memory-like activity was added, but is based on mathematics, so a 2+2 card matches the 4 card. A command line switch was added to disable the exit and config buttons. Voices for Dutch were added. A fix was made for Clock refresh in the time window. The internal help was changed to use a GTK textview with a scrollbar. Erase has 10 sublevels to let small children play longer. Sudoku has a new level 5x5 with numbers.

                    Release Notes: A new activity was added, in which you drive the crane and copy the model. A new "electricity" activity, based on the gnucap engine, was added. New menu organization is used. The graphics were improved. A Traditional Chinese translation was added. Translation updates were made.

                      Release Notes: This includes four new activities: Tangram, from the original gtans code; Mosaic, where you must rebuild the same mosaic on the correct area; Guess a number, where tux hides a number that you must discover; and Audio memory, which is like hidden card memory but with sounds.
