FluxBB is a fast, light, user-friendly forum application for Web sites. It was originally based on PunBB and supports UTF-8, XHTML, and internationalization, and leaves out some of the less than essential features of other forums without sacrificing essential functionality or usability.

    Release Notes: This release fixes a total of 21 bugs and includes 25 enhancements. The most important changes are correction of automatic login after registration, prevention of moderators from editing administrators' profiles, changing PUN_ROOT to use absolute paths, preventing all but admins from running the upgrade script, adding the ability to subscribe to a forum and be alerted by email of any new topics posted, the addition of some new user post searches similar to those found in FluxBB 1.3, and the ability to translate the install script and update script.

      Release Notes: This release fixes various minor bugs, as well as a rare bug when upgrading from 1.2 and a critical vulnerability in PHP <= 5.2.13/5.3.2 regarding unserialize(). Note that the vulnerability is in PHP and not FluxBB itself. All other bugfixes are mostly concerning stability, backwards compatibility with 1.2.*, usability, and styling.

        Release Notes: The version comparison method was changed to use version_compare. A critical XSS vulnerability was fixed. A deprecation warning on newer versions of PHP was fixed. An issue with uploading avatars when open_basedir restrictions are in effect was fixed. Stickied topics now show as such in search results.
