Release Notes: This release no longer does any sound recording. This may seem strange, but there are tools (such as sox) that are so much better at reading and converting sound. Therefore, it will from now on only accept data on stdin. It uses OpenGL, which also makes it more flexible. Resizing a window is now easily possible, including to fullscreen, while having separated the CPU and RAM demand from the window size.

Release Notes: Fische has received support for clean exit on Ctrl^C. Other changes are purely cosmetical.

Good to see that your project is still alive :)

At first, I have to say that I like it ...

Would it be possible to add features like getting data from a wav or mp3 file and afterwords writing the output to any video-format ?

Im seeking for such a programm, which could transform any audio file into a video with visualization like your program does.
