      Release Notes: A physically accurate global-illumination renderer was added. A major speed improvement was made in the interactive ray-tracer. GUI improvements were made. A 3D rotation widget was added.

        Release Notes: Fast and physically accurate area lights were added, using adaptive stratified sampling. Ray-tracing was made faster. The animation infrastructure was improved. Undo and redo work for more operations. The user interface was improved.

            Release Notes: A Mac OS X version is available. The Cg renderer was improved. A built-in code generator was added, capable of generating billions of optimized shader variations based on the UI. An unlimited number of lights with hardware-accelerated shadows is supported. HDR (high dynamic range) rendering, reflection and refraction cubemaps, and tangent-space and object-space normal maps were implemented. The "I" key sets the interest point to point on the surface under the mouse pointer. IK and construction-history were improved. (Spline) Faces are saved and restored from COLLADA files. Face holes can be deleted.

              Release Notes: A greatly improved schematic (graph) view with vertical or horizontal layout and collapsible branches. A spherical texture mapper. Angle map and mirror sphere texture mappers for easy 360 degree environment maps. Ray-tracer speed has improved by ~10% for large area lights. A "Shift CVs" tool in the Spline dialog box. Spline invert correctly reassigns the per-segment data. An improved internal object-oriented framework.

                Release Notes: This version added bevels for extrude/extrude along spline and a Blinn shader. "Attach holes to Faces" now accepts instances. Duplicating whole hierarchies and branches is now possible. A "stuck object" renderer bug was fixed along with a problem with scaling points. The manual was updated.

                  Release Notes: This version added a texture-mapping view and key-frame animation view. A more robust polygon and face triangulator was implemented and dialog boxes were added for organizing static and dynamic inheritance info better. A light-map renderer was added. Arc-length proportional UV coordinates were added for "Extrude" and "Extrude along spline". Full scene export/import in COLLADA 1.2 format was added, including cameras, 3D window layout, renderer mode, renderer settings, and construction history for primitives.
