    Release Notes: This is the last version of DesktopLyrics 1.x. Visit the website to learn how to upgrade to version 2.0. This release improves compatibility Mac OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion", adds visual improvements for Mac OS X 10.7 "Lion" and newer, improves stability, defaults to running in 64-bit mode, and fixes the "hide lyrics" HotKey to last permanently, not only until the next song.

      Release Notes: A bug where DesktopLyrics would display a dash when iTunes is not running was fixed. Stability was improved. A link was added to "Get Lyrical". DesktopLyrics automatically restarts itself when turning off visibility in the Dock.

        Release Notes: The minimum system requirements have been raised to Mac OS X 10.5. Do not directly upgrade from a release older than 1.0.2, or your preferences won't be taken over. The communication with iTunes was completely reimplemented based on the "ScriptingBridge" for improved performance and reliability. 64-bit support (on Intel) was added, but by default it starts in 32-bit mode. The option to change the current lyrics page with the arrow keys was added. The specified text shadow was added to the page index text. The CrashReport sending facility was fixed to only send "real" crashes.

          Release Notes: Users of Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" have to update manually to this release, since the update check has been disabled on this platform already. Multiple issues where the page-choose-buttons would be positioned incorrectly, possibly obscuring the lyrics display, have been fixed. A possible crash has been fixed. The update check, which would still check for updates even if disabled, has been fixed. Fonts unsuitable for lyrics display are filtered out. Font minimum and maximum size is restricted to 3 - 30 to prevent problems.

            Release Notes: The minimum system requirements have been raised to Mac OS X 10.4. Users of Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" have to update manually to this release, since the update check has been disabled on this platform already. Minimum font size prevents lyrics from becoming unreadably small. Lyrics not fitting in the destination area with the minimum size are are displayed on multiple "pages". The currently viewed lyrics page can be toggled with small buttons embedded in the lyrics display. This release can hide the dummy lyrics iTunes sends for Ogg files ("(null)".

              Release Notes: This release disables the update check on Mac OS X 10.3 and 10.4, as those won't be supported in future releases. "Sparkle" (the framework used for version checking and automatic updates) has been updated to fix possible crashes. A problem where DesktopLyrics might display the lyrics of the previous song because iTunes was busy while being asked for lyrics has been fixed. A problem where DesktopLyrics would still display lyrics after quitting iTunes when not using the option "Hide lyrics when iTunes is paused" has been fixed.A French translation has been added.

                    Release Notes: Reporting of crashes (of DesktopLyrics) works under Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard", as does the "Start on login" feature through a new Leopard-specific implementation. A help menu has been added, and appropriate items moved there. Preferences files have been renamed to avoid possible conflicts (the old one is automatically reused). The ReadMe/FAQ have been updated and expanded. "Sparkle" (the framework used for version checking and automatic updates) has been updated to fix possible crashes during updates.

                      Release Notes: All hyperlinks in the application and the documentation have been updated, because of the move to new hosting for the Web site and email. A German translation has been added. A FAQ has been added. History has been separated into a file, and the ReadMe has been expanded. An icon that was wrong at small sizes has been fixed. File permissions that could cause DesktopLyrics to fail/crash for unprivileged users have been fixed. The hyperlink to "Harmonic" in the ReadMe has been fixed. Defaults have been refined for a better first-use experience.
