    Release Notes: Support for Japanese charsets was added. It is now possible to use external diff programs. Handling of temporary files was improved. Bugfixes were made.

      Release Notes: Support for KDE2 has been activated. A patch for reading a .cvspass file using newer versions of CVS has been integrated. A patch has been integrated for query update. A test has been added for checking the PID of an SSH agent if LinCVS is started from tcsh or friends. Transparency has been added to X pixmaps. Pthreads has been replaced with Qt threads. The tag dialog has been improved.

        Release Notes: A switch to autotools, redesigns of the sandbox properties dialog, log-tree dialog, and diff dialog (with Qt designer), a basic history dialog, an option to remove files from disk to non-CVS pane's context menu, a new motif-plus style, embedded pixmaps in executable for easy deployment/installation, and restoring splitter positions upon startup.

          Release Notes: determineTimeZoneDiff is POSIX-compliant, ability to select revisions with the right mouse button and configure selection color with log dialog tree, fixes for a wrong default value for EDITOR and removing files, and a workaround for a bug in Qt 2.2.4.

            Release Notes: diffview now includes a horizontal scrollbar, color support in the NonCVS tab bar, the ability to immediately check if you have NonCVS files in your directory, the ability to use any special character (like *) for commit comments, support for filenames with blanks, the ability to add binary files, KDE2 support, and no more using of killall ssh-agent.

              Release Notes: Support for RSA-authentication with ssh was implemented. The output of a log command is now shown in a log dialog. Compression is now used for various operations. JFC and NeXT-Step themes were added. Fixes were made for a problem with detecting nonexistent old configuration files, a geometry bug that made the workbench and file list invisible, the autoincreasing-by-start-bug, as well as for a few other small but annoying problems. Facilities provided by Qt are now used instead of the STL.

                Release Notes: This release adds saving of widget positions, etc., in a config file, toolbuttons (now you can disable the automatic status check), fixes for the problems with trailing slashes (empty name of a root directory after adding a project to the workbench) and the floating gif in the statusbar, bugfixes in the Makefile (target install, obsolete dependencies removed), pixmaps renamed to lincvs-*, and minor bugfixes.

                  Release Notes: New configuration file system implemented. A convenient way for adding files in cvs directories has been added. You can now view the log messages in tree and list form and diff between different revisions. There is a new module browser in the checkout/import dialog. Disabling/enabling of directories in Workbench for scanning is now possible. New choose-dir-dialog as workaround for trouble with qt-2.1. Now indicates modified files in directories after opening. You can now open a file by double clicking in the editor. You can modifiy the interval for checking status of files in current director if the cpu usage on your machine is too high.

                    Release Notes: Fixes for a dirty thread implementation, gcc 2.95.x compile support, a compiler switch for other system shells (e.g., TRUE64), marking files with set sticky date also (not only files with set sticky tag), a makefile fix to use $(QTDIR)/bin/moc instead of moc, an adaption in Makefile for compilability on other Unixes, and a little bugfix in checkout dialog.

                      Release Notes: LinCVS now marks files belonging to old/other revisions; it memorizes the user input from the checkout and import dialogs; multithreaded (except add): removes multiple slashes and slashes at the end of repository string in checkout and import dialogs; bugfix for displaying of state after committing of subdirectories; you can now operate without a mouse; bugfix to determine time zone difference; truncation of checkout dialog and update-other-revision dialog under Gnome solved; now LinCVS displays the cvs command line in output widget
