btar is a tar-compatible archiver which allows arbitrary compression and ciphering, redundancy, differential backup, indexed extraction, multicore compression, input and output serialisation, and tolerance to partial archive errors.

    Release Notes: This release fixes an fd leak to filters that often broke the parallelism of "-jN".

      Release Notes: This release adds the -m capability to change the filters of a given btar file. Performance improvements (string manipulation). A -U option to filter only the index/deleted. The -H option has been fixed so that when extracting specific paths, it only attempts to delete files complying with the pattern.

          Release Notes: This release fixes two bugs in extraction: an fd leak on zero byte files and proper extraction of files bigger than 8.5GB.
