Release Notes: This release adds support for the GOST suite of cryptography algoritms, ISO 7816-4 padding, the Whirlpool message digest, and the creation of ECDSA certification requests. Several compliance issues concerning the CertPath implementation, the S/MIME API, and the processing of CRL entries have been dealt with. The TSP implementation will now accept responses with timestamps that contain milliseconds. A bug in the file processing methods of the PGPUtil class that was leaving file handles open unecessarily has also been fixed.

Release Notes: This release adds full support for the PSS and OAEP classes in JDK 1.5, and adds support for SHA-256, SHA-384, and SHA-512 to the CMS implementation. The TSP implementation will now validate messages with IssuerSerial set, further development has been done on attribute certificates, and a sorting bug that could cause the encoding of an ASN.1 set to loop indefinitely has been fixed. This release of the OpenPGP API also disables the quick check for public key encrypted messages in line with the latest security advisory from PGP Corporation.

Release Notes: This release added parsing and generation of indefinite length streams and revocation and other key certifications to the OpenPGP implementation in addition to further work on compatibility with other PGP implementations. Trailing bit compliment (TBC) padding, SHA-224, and SHA224withRSA signatures were added to the provider and support for ISO9796-2/PSS was added to the lightweight API. A number of bugfixes and other minor enhancements were also made.

Release Notes: This release patched a problem that could affect the encoding of ASN.1 bit strings. Modifications were made to OpenPGP secret key ring processing to handle user attribute packets and GPG comment packets. The OpenPGP API now supports the creation of key ring sub- keys. A bug in the lightweight CBCBlockCipherMac class was fixed, and JARs compiled and tested against JDK 1.5 were provided.

Release Notes: This release contains further improvements to the OpenPGP compatibility and support for modification detection codes. V3 signature generation has been added. The OpenPGP examples have been rewritten to take advantage of new API features, and an unpacking problem which was occasionally causing the OpenPGP API to fail doing El Gamal decryption has been fixed. RipeMD160 and RipeMD320 have been added, and support for RipeMD has been added to the CMS/SMIME handlers. A number of other bugs and issues have also been addressed.

Release Notes: This release rounds out the OpenPGP support and fixes a number of bugs. The major bugs were the fact that the CertPath validator would fail for some valid CRLs, some of the AES OIDS for S/MIME were still incorrect, the CertPathBuilder would sometimes throw a NullPointerException looking for an issuer. The BigInteger class for J2ME users no longer goes into an infinite loop generating prime numbers.
