bbacpi is a simple tool for X11 that shows some information on batteries of laptops using ACPI. Main features are (all optional): battery level (gauge and label), battery lifetime, temperature (gauge and label), and state of the adapter (label or graphics). Planned features include some support for APM, menu enhancements, more ACPI functions support (suspend, etc.), and sysfs support.

    Release Notes: A bug related to window manager identification was corrected.

      Release Notes: A bug that concerns Fluxbox users which caused 100% CPU usage was fixed.

        Release Notes: ACPI readings were enhanced. A new xmessage was added for when battery level is really critical. A window manager improvement was made. Charging time was corrected. The config files were moved to /usr/share/bbtools.

          Release Notes: This release corrects a few bugs and add two new features, namely the ability to move the window with the mouse, and a popup window with core ACPI information.

            Release Notes: This release fixes a crash which occurred when refreshing after a theme change when auto-configuration was on and detects the window manager for better theme management.
