Ashpool XML Database

Ashpool is a lightweight XML Database written in Java. Its goal is to use standard SQL92 syntax to query, add, update, and delete XML documents that hold to a table like structure.

    Release Notes: This release supports all basic SQL commands (joins are not supported--you can create/query as many documents as you'd like one at a time). Some JDBC fixes and an overall speed increase are also included. Sub-selects mostly work (for production don't count on them), and there are quite a few functions that can be used in the column specification section of the sql statement (count(), sum(), year(), now(), etc.). The AS keyword now works.
