Apt-zeroconf is a distributed apt-cacher for local networks. It's called apt-zeroconf since it uses avahi for automatically finding other apt-zeroconf instances on the LAN, similar to Apple's Rendezvous/Bonjour/Zeroconf technology.

    Release Notes: A bug preventing apt-zeroconf from running on Ubuntu gutsy was fixed.

      Release Notes: This release adds a configuration system and IPv6 support, and features a more robust init script. Furthermore, HTTP POST was implemented for compatibility with apt-listbugs.

        Release Notes: The init script is now installed with a priority 25, after dbus and avahi. Support for the old pyinotify API was added due to the outdated version in etch.

            Release Notes: A new and improved initscript was written. Permissions of the logfile and runfile were fixed. avahi restarts are handled properly.
