AldoContent is a lightweight CMS focused on usability and simplicity. It is designed for multilingual Web sites and can have sections with public and private content. It has file management, is extensible with plugins, and uses gettext for localization. Is written in PHP for a MySQL backend.

    Release Notes: This is a beta release for version 1.0. It has been completely rewritten in PHP5. It was revamped to take full advantage of PHP5's capabilities. For example, the plug-ins now use interfaces and the factory pattern.

      Release Notes: This maintenance release updates the package to include the latest version on FCKEditor, fixes some bugs, and enhances the multilanguage system. Now it is possible to have multilingual Web sites, without having installed the corresponding translation for the interface. It is necessary to create an empty folder under the locales directory.

        Release Notes: The application was repackagged in order to separate the plugins except the form builder, which remains with the core package. All of the Gallery plugin text fields are now WYSIWYG. Minor bugs were fixed in the News and Mailform plugins.

          Release Notes: Some changes to allow compatibility with PHP4/MySQL 4.0. An es_ES (Spanish/Spain) translation has been added. There are other bugfixes.
