Generic Configuration Form Manager (GCFM, a.k.a. webconfig) is a minimalist Web server which provides Web services to update configuration files. A Web service skeleton is provided as an example to develop specific configuration file editors.

    The lzlib compression library provides in-memory LZMA compression and decompression functions, including integrity checking of the decompressed data. The compressed data format used by the library is the lzip format. The lzip file format is designed for long-term data archiving. It is clean, provides very safe 4-factor integrity checking, and is backed by the recovery capabilities of lziprecover.


    Release Notes: Improved portability on BSD systems: the configure script now accepts the option "--disable-ldconfig", and "make install" now ignores any errors from ldconfig. Minilzip now copies file dates, permissions, and ownership like "cp -p" (if the user ID or the group ID can't be duplicated, the file permission bits S_ISUID and S_ISGID are cleared). "lzlib.texinfo" has been renamed to "lzlib.texi".

Not all possible histories can be rendered this way; the program tries to emit useful warnings when it can't. The program can also produce a visualization of the resulting commit DAG in the DOT format handled by the graphviz suite. The package also includes cvssync, a tool for mirroring masters from remote CVS hosts.

    Lilblue Linux is a Gentoo-based, security-enhanced, fully featured XFCE4 desktop system for amd64, built on uClibc. Its userland utilities are not provided by busybox, but by coreutils, util-Linux, etc. It resembles a common Linux system with one exception: It uses uClibc as its standard C library and not the more common glibc, and so brings in some of the advantages of embedded systems. Security enhancements come from Gentoo's hardened toolchain and Grsec/PaX-patched kernel. The fully-featured XFCE4 desktop has software for browsing, email, word processing, multimedia, chat, games, and more.


    Release Notes: This is a maintenance release which resolves some small desktop issues and syncs the package versions with mainstream Gentoo's stable packages for amd64. The kernel was bumped to Gentoo's hardened-sources-3.12.6, but the toolchain remains the same as the previous release.

    YAGF is a graphical frontend for the cuneiform and tesseract OCR tools. It lets you open already scanned image files or obtain new images via XSane (scanning results are automatically passed to YAGF). Once you have a scanned image you can prepare it for recognition, select particular image areas for recognition, set the recognition language and so on. Recognized text is displayed in an editor window where it can be spell-checked, corrected, saved to disk, or copied to clipboard. YAGF also provides some facilities for a multi-page recognition.

    Release Notes: Image processing has improved so that the supported OCR engines can recognize text on damaged or poorly-scanned images. Some new recognition languages are added. Some small bugs are fixed so that the program is more stable now.
