Download Website 15 Feb 23:46 Zorka 0.9.18

Zorka is a sophisticated programmable profiling/monitoring agent for Java suitable for running with production applications. The agent integrates seamlessly with popular monitoring systems and protocols (Zabbix, Nagios, syslog, SNMP) and offers additional tracing/profiling capabilities that - along with the accompanying data collector - help with spotting performance issues and general problems. The agent also exposes JMX data to conventional monitoring systems. Platforms (more or less) supported out of the box include: JBoss 4/5/6/7, Wildfly 8, Tomcat 6/7/8, Jetty 6/7/8/9, Websphere, Weblogic, GlassFish 4.0, WSO2 ESB, Mule ESB, and Jasig CAS. There is also dedicated support for the popular Java libraries Spring, Quartz, CXF, and Axis 1.x. The agent should run on most other platforms with limited functionalities (that is, lack of support for platform-specific features). It works with JDK6, JDK7, and JDK8. JDK5 support is also possible after preprocessing the agent binary with retrotranslator. Functionality can be easily added by implementing simple BSH scripts.

Release Notes: This release adds support for Wildfly 8 plus Undertow and SOAP monitoring (Axis 1.x supported at the moment, more to come). For JBoss 7.x and Wildfly, Zorka can now directly access JBoss configuration DMR data (without JMX), so it can see virtually all configuration and runtime parameters, including JBoss 7.0.x versions which had no support for JMX.

Download Website 15 Feb 07:28 HGL Suite 0.5.20

HGL is a compiler/interpreter suite for developing images. It features its own simple but powerful language, Lua integration, output in various formats as well as runtime input handled by plugins, and easy integration into various environments like Web servers or graphical applications. The input is taken from a source file, which has to be compiled for quick and frequent access by the interpreter. An interpreter then runs the compiled files, takes input from custom plugins (if neccessary), and outputs its result via custom plugins.

Release Notes: This release features lower memory consumption and better performance in the compiler. Compression level can now be set with -z. Truncated JPEG output was fixed. JPEG quality can be set from the command line. The built-in DebugProcedure was fixed along with broken calls to stdlib. Download Website 15 Feb 00:50 libcsdbg 1.23

libcsdbg is a C++ exception stack tracer. When an exception is thrown, caught, and handled, libcsdbg offers the tools to create and process the exception stack trace, the path the exception has propagated up the call stack, unwinding it up to the section were it was handled. The traces are detailed with demangled function signatures and additional addr2line information (the source code file and line from which each function was called). libcsdbg can use all the well-known objective code file formats (a.out, elf, coff, ecoff, etc.) and can easily be used as the base for your own instrumentation code. libcsdbg transparently loads the symbol tables of the chosen dynamic libraries and of the executable, demangles function symbols to complete signatures, and binds function names to runtime addresses (even for the DSO symbols).

Release Notes: This version adds the buffered output stream class for serial devices (sttybuf). Using an sttybuf object, you can output LDP headers and trace data to any kind of serial device (RS-232, RS-485, USB, terminals, pseudoterminals, etc.). Of course, you can use such objects for generic data as well. The csdbg::style class API and implementation was completed and other maintenance jobs carried out.

Download Website 15 Feb 00:49 reposurgeon 3.4

A tool for editing version-control repository history, reposurgeon enables risky operations that version-control systems don't want to let you do, such as editing past comments and metadata and removing commits. It works with any version control system that can export and import git fast-import streams, including git, hg, bzr, CVS, and RCS. It can also read Subversion dump files directly, and can thus be used to script production of very high-quality conversions from Subversion to any supported DVCS.
