Go! is a PHP 5.4 library that allows developers to add support for aspect-oriented programming (AOP) to their PHP applications. It doesn't require PECL extensions, Runkit, evals, or DI containers. The code with weaved aspects is fully readable and native, and can be easily debugged with XDebug. You can debug either classes or aspects. It can potentially be installed in every PHP application because you don't have to change the application source code at all. As an example, with the help of 10-20 lines of code it is possible to intercept all of the public, protected, and static methods in all classes of an application, and display the name and the arguments of each method during its execution.

No download Website 21 Jan 05:15 Seed7 2013-01-20

Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used when it brings advantages and not in places when other solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of other programming languages, it is generally not considered as a direct descendant of any other programming language.

Release Notes: New options have been added to the interpreter and compiler. Additional parse and execute functions have been added to progs.s7i. The library gzip.s7c has been improved to decode blocks with fixed Huffman codes. Support for bigInteger literals with bases other than 10 has been added. The str functions have been changed such that str(48879, 16) returns "beef". The program make7.sd7 has been improved to support multiple targets and the option -C. The handling of floating point divisions in the compiler has been improved. The makefile mk_clang.mak has been added to support the clang C compiler.

No download Website 21 Jan 05:14 jTransfo 0.6

jTransfo is a Java library to easily convert between transfer and domain objects. It is driven using annotations on the transfer object. Several transfer objects for the same domain object can be used. There are integrations with the Spring framework and Joda-Time.

Release Notes: A demo module was added that uses Hibernate and Lombok. Conversion now uses getters and setters on the domain objects, as this is needed to avoid problems with Hibernate lazy loading. Collections need special handling; this release adds a base type converter that accepts the type of the transfer objects. It adds a type converter that updates linked objects but does not update objects in the domain. This is very practical or controlling links between objects without allowing the objects themselves to be modified.
