Eric includes a plug-in system, which allows easy extension of the IDE functionality with plug-ins downloadable from the net. Current stable versions are Eric4 based on Qt4 and Python 2 and Eric5 based on Python 3 and Qt4.

It is a GUI program that allows you to view the structure of a database, execute SQL queries and scripts, browse and export table data, handle BLOB/CLOB values, modify database meta objects, etc. It has a native UI (provided by the Eclipse SWT library), great performance, and relatively low memory consumption.


Release Notes: This version contains a few important bugfixes: toolbar actions fixes (ERD, SQL editor, etc.), a search dialog fix, an object filters fix, a numeric data types (Oracle) handle fix, and a read-only connections fix (all new connections were read-only by default).

task spooler is a Unix batch system where the tasks spooled run one after the other. The amount of jobs to run at once can be set at any time. Each user in each system has his own job queue. The tasks are run in the correct context (that of enqueue) from any shell/process, and its output/results can be easily watched. It is very useful when you know that your commands depend on a lot of RAM, a lot of disk use, give a lot of output, or for whatever reason it's better not to run them all at the same time, while you want to keep your resources busy for maximum benfit. Its interface allows using it easily in scripts.

btar is a tar-compatible archiver which allows arbitrary compression and ciphering, redundancy, differential backup, indexed extraction, multicore compression, input and output serialisation, and tolerance to partial archive errors.

Release Notes: This release adds the -m capability to change the filters of a given btar file. Performance improvements (string manipulation). A -U option to filter only the index/deleted. The -H option has been fixed so that when extracting specific paths, it only attempts to delete files complying with the pattern.

Multiuser gameplay is real-time: in each turn, all human players move concurrently. The game is designed to remain fairly playable even on poor network connections. Freeciv can also be played on standalone machines, and its AI players are a good challenge for beginners. The source code comes with the server, two X clients, and non-X clients for MS Windows and Amiga. Freeciv is released under the GNU General Public License. It is maintained by an international team of coders and enthusiasts, and is easily one of the most fun and addictive network games out there.

Release Notes: Background stars now fade out in daylight. Ships which can't fit shielding can't purchase it at atmosphere ports. Attempting to fly in an atmosphere without shielding causes quick death. The Lua console now provides autocompletion. A target indicator is shown on docking waypoints when clearance has been granted to assist with manual docking. Assorted bugfixes have been made.

CmdOption is a simple annotation-driven command line parser toolkit for Java 5 applications. Everything you need is (at least one) simple configuration object. Each field and method annotated with an CmdOption annotation will be processed. Based on this config, CmdOption is able to parse any command line, guaranteeing the declared specification. The result is directly stored in the given config object. When errors occur, CmdOption gives a meaningful error message. Generated output and validation/error message can be localized.

Release Notes: This is the first release under the de.tototec.cmdoption brand. The release date was 2012-03-07. CmdOption 0.1.0 brings a lot of new features, most notably commands support and better usage display. Besides the namespace change from de.tobiasroeser.cmdoption to de.tototec.cmdoption, the @CmdOption no longer has the longName and shortName attributes, but now supports any number of names with the names attribute.
