Download Website 21 Jul 23:13 phalanx 0.4.17 Stable

phalanx computes a digest of many buffers simultaneously, and produces a combined hash of them all. It is an initiative to provide a fast, simple, and portable alternative method to compute a checksum in a parallel fashion. It has options for I/O buffer size, hash width, number of threads, and more. It can be run single-threadedly for performance comparisons. It can check files against previously-saved sums, like "MD5sum" does. It also has a "demo" mode, to ascertain accurate operation. It is intended to be useful on large files and multicore/multiprocessor/multithreaded environments.

Release Notes: This release implements hashing from standard input and adds a proper man(1) page.

No download Website 21 Jul 23:12 Seed7 2012-07-21

Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used when it brings advantages and not in places when other solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of other programming languages, it is generally not considered as a direct descendant of any other programming language.

Release Notes: Documentation comments have been improved in several libraries. Parameter names have been added to function definitions in the libraries array.s7i, bigfile.s7i, hash.s7i, and idxarray.s7i. The compiler has been improved to generate better inline code for set membership (operator: in). The functions "cmdFileType" and "cmdFileTypeSL" in "cmd_rtl.c" have been improved to return FILE_ABSENT when the filename is too long or when the filename is an empty string. The new libraries subrange.s7i, ref_list.s7i, and reference.s7i have been added. The contents of these libraries have been extracted from the seed7_05.s7i library.

No download Website 21 Jul 23:11 Cosmosmash 1.4.6

Cosmosmash is a game where you control a base that must destroy rocks before they hit the ground, or you lose points. You must also prevent "spinners" from touching the ground, or your base will explode. This game is a clone of the 1981 Astrosmash video game for the Intellivision by Mattel Electronics.

Release Notes: This release links with version 0.1.6 of the flatzebra library. To better reflect the original game, the spinners now make a descending sound, a slowly accelerating cadence sound has been added, and the background color now changes to indicate the level.

Download Website 21 Jul 22:51 crpcut 1.8.3

crpcut is the Compartmented Robust Posix C++ Unit Test system. crpcut (pronounced "Crap Cut") runs all test cases in their own process and their own working directory, which makes it perfectly normal to test that asserts do trap, and the test suite continues even in the event of an unexpected SIGSEGV. By using the C++11 features long available in GCC, the tests are extremely easy to write.

Release Notes: This is a minor feature enhancement release preparing for an Eclipse plugin in development. Reports of violations now always begin with file:line. When an exact location for the violation cannot be found (for example, if the test has unexpectedly exited), the location refers to the test definition. An attribute "duration_us" has been added to every test node in XML-reports.

Download Website 21 Jul 08:35 libburnia 1.2.4

libburnia is a project comprised of libraries and binaries for reading, mastering, and writing optical discs. It provides libburn, a CD/DVD/BD burn library, libisofs, a manipulation library for ISO 9660 filesystems, and libisoburn, a ISO 9660 multi-session library. On top of them there is cdrskin, a cdrecord emulator, and xorriso, a all-in-one application for ISO 9660 multi-session operations which additionaly provides a limited emulation of mkisofs.

Release Notes: Some rarely occurring bugs in libburn and libisofs were fixed. libisofs can now produce HFS+ metadata and Apple Partition Maps. The GPT and APM capabilities of isohybrid options --efi and --mac have been implemented. libisoburn and xorriso make use of these features.

Download Website 21 Jul 08:34 GNU xorriso 1.2.4

GNU xorriso creates, loads, manipulates, and writes ISO 9660 filesystem images with Rock Ridge extensions. Files can be copied in and out. The session results get written to optical media or to filesystem objects. Rather than needing external tools for ISO 9660 production and CD/DVD/BD burning, it is a static compilation of libburnia-project.org. Thus GNU xorriso depends only on fundamental operating system facilities.

Release Notes: xorriso is now able to produce hybrid filesystems with HFS+ metadata. Alternatively, it can produce ISO 9660 images which contain boot partitions for EFI and x86-Mac. This has the same effect as an isohybrid run with options --efi and --mac.

Download Website 21 Jul 08:34 dateutils 0.2.2

Dateutils are a bunch of tools that revolve around fiddling with dates and times in the command line, with a strong focus on use cases that arise when dealing with large amounts of financial data. Their target market is shell scripts that need date calculations or calendar conversions, and as such they are highly pipe-able and modeled after their well-known cousins (e.g. dtest vs. test, or dgrep vs. grep).

Release Notes: Olson's zoneinfo database files are now checked for at configure time. leap-aware calculations use the shipped leapseconds file. ddiff and dadd can take leap-second transitions into account. ddiff no longer segfaults when run without arguments. dadd now copes with huge summands and works with ymcw dates. An error in ddiff with negative differences was fixed.

Download Website 21 Jul 08:31 cego 2.13.5

Cego implements a relational and transactional database system with support for the SQL query language. The current release contains the most common database features for basic table manipulation and data retrieval. Indexes, foreign keys, views, and stored procedures are also implemented. Future releases (2.0 and above) will support a multi-node database concept with log file shipping for an automatic database application failover.

Release Notes: Adaptations were made for MinGW compilation (requires adapted base packages lfc 1.3.3 and lfcxml 1.0.27).

Download Website 21 Jul 08:30 nut 17.10

Nutrient levels are expressed as a percentage of the Daily Value, the familiar standard of food labeling in the United States, but also can be fully customized. Foods can be added from recipes or food labels, and nutrient intake can be graphed. The program is completely menu-driven and there are no commands to learn.

Release Notes: This release improves the automatic portion control feature by getting rid of analysis presets and substituting new options that do the same thing. The FLTK GUI has been discontinued.

Download Website 21 Jul 08:29 dnscrypt-proxy 1.0

dnscrypt-proxy acts as a DNS proxy between a regular client, like a DNS cache or an operating system stub resolver, and a DNSCrypt-aware resolver, like OpenDNS. The DNSCrypt protocol focuses on securing communications between a client and its first-level resolver. While not providing end-to-end security, it protects the local network (which is often the weakest link in the chain) against man-in-the-middle attacks. It also provides some confidentiality to DNS queries.

Release Notes: dnscrypt-proxy is no longer in beta.
