I2P is an anonymizing network, offering a simple layer that identity-sensitive applications can use to securely communicate. All data is wrapped with several layers of encryption, and the network is both distributed and dynamic, with no trusted parties.

Release Notes: The 0.9 release concludes over a year and a half of work on the 0.8.x series, which greatly improved the performance and security of the router and the scalability of the network. This release migrates to Jetty 6 for the console and eepsite Web server and introduces a simplified router console homepage. It is network-compatible with prior releases, but see the project documentation for important information on compatibility with existing eepsites, plugins, and webapps. Upgrading is recommended.

Xfce Embed Plugin enables the embedding of arbitrary application windows into the Xfce panel. The window is resized into the panel space available, and the associated program can be automatically launched if it is not open. Example uses include embedding an instant messaging buddy list, a mail client's new mail ticker, a simple media application, or a fancy clock or timer. Combining with Xfce's ability to auto-hide panels can make this very convenient.

Release Notes: The plugin now compiles as a module. It has been translated into 15 languages and is feature-complete.

bfsync is a file-synchronization tool that allows you to keep a collection of big files synchronized on many machines. It is built around a FuSE filesystem, so repositories can be mounted and the contents can be viewed and modified via the mount point. A collection of commands like commit/push/pull/put/get can be used to control bfsyncs behaviour, and trigger data / history transfers between machines. In addition to synchronizing files between many machines, bfsync can also be used to store backups.

Release Notes: New commands disk-usage and new-files were added, mainly to analyze size usage when performing incremental backups. Implements checks for protocol and repository version. Provides disk usage information through FuSE filesystem (support du). Fixes commit user name detection to also work when called from cron. XZ compression level for history diffs is now -6 instead of -9, which this is better for machines with low RAM.

LibVNCServer is a library that makes it easy to make a VNC server. All you do is provide a frame buffer and some I/O functions, and call a function each time the frame buffer changes. It supports all encodings known, including tight, zlib, ZRLE, and cursor encodings. It also includes the HTTP server from Xvnc, so you can start a java viewer by surfing to http://my.vnc.server:5801 or similar. It includes a beta version of LibVNCClient, which makes it easy to make a VNC client. Also included is LinuxVNC, which is to the Linux console as WinVNC is to the Windows desktop.

Release Notes: This release boasts a load of bugfixes and new features: It adds noVNC, an HTML5 VNC viewer as a connection option to the HTTP server. This is pure JavaScript, with no Java plugin required (but needs a recent browser). It adds a GTK+ VNC viewer example, support to build for Google Android, and complete IPv6 support in both LibVNCServer and LibVNCClient.

Armadillo is a C++ linear algebra library (matrix maths) aiming towards a good balance between speed and ease of use. The API is deliberately similar to Matlab's. Integer, floating point, and complex numbers are supported, as well as a subset of trigonometric and statistics functions. Various matrix decompositions are provided through optional integration with LAPACK and ATLAS numerics libraries. A delayed evaluation approach, based on template meta-programming, is used (during compile time) to combine several operations into one and reduce or eliminate the need for temporaries.
