Download Website 01 Mar 23:51 Quilt 0.60

Quilt is a set of scripts to manage a series of patches by keeping track of the changes each patch makes. Patches can be applied, un-applied, refreshed, etc. The key philosophical concept is that your primary output is patches, not ".c" files or ".h" files, so patches are the first-class object here. It was originally based on Andrew Morton's patch scripts published on the Linux kernel mailing list a while ago, but has been heavily modified since then.

Release Notes: The backup-files helper has been rewritten from C to bash, making quilt a noarch package. Bugs have been fixed in the mail command.

No download Website 01 Mar 23:46 Apache MetaModel (incubation) 2.2.2

With MetaModel, you use a type-safe SQL-like API for querying any datastore. It is a data access framework providing a common interface for exploration and querying of different types of datastores. It isn't a data mapping framework. Instead, it emphasizes abstraction of metadata and the ability to add data sources at runtime, making MetaModel great for generic data processing applications, but less so for applications modeled around a particular domain.

Release Notes: The MongoDB module now supports having Maps and Lists as column types. Query filters now support logical AND operators in addition to the existing OR operators. The DataContext.getColumnByQualifiedLabel(...) method is now fault-tolerant towards case differences. DataSets are now automatically closed when garbage collected. A stack overflow bug in the DataContextFactory.createExcelDataContext(...) method has been fixed.

Edit functions include brightness, contrast, color, gamma, white balance, tone mapping, red eyes, sharpen, blur, noise suppression, smart erase, trim (crop), resize, rotate, add text, bend/warp, many art effects, HDR, HDF, stack, and panorama. The exiftool program is started as a server process and left running, eliminating a significant delay for every image opened. The internal image format was changed from int-16 to float-32 per color. This simplified the code and made some edit functions slightly faster, but more memory is used: about 800 MB to edit a 20 megapixel image. There are several other small improvements, 1 significant bugfix, and 5 minor ones.
