For the MS Word *.doc format, it implements language/encoding detection and fixes a crash during library scanning or book opening for some files.

deawk is a very simple double-entry bookkeeping system designed for self-employed people. It uses three (text) data files: transactions, a chart of accounts, and an optional vehicle log. Reports are generated by running bash scripts which run awk. deawk currently does not support depreciation of capital assets.

Vrapper is an Eclipse plugin which acts as a wrapper for Eclipse text editors to provide a Vim-like input scheme for moving around and editing text. Unlike other plugins which embed Vim in Eclipse, Vrapper imitates the behavior of Vim while still using whatever editor you have opened in the workbench. The goal is to have the comfort and ease which comes with the different modes, complex commands, and count/operator/motion combinations which are the key features behind editing with Vim, while preserving the powerful features of the different Eclipse text editors, like code generation and refactoring.

Release Notes: This release includes the ability to open files with ':e' or ':find' and the corresponding commands to support them. Other changes include miscellaneous bugfixes and features such as: support for Ctrl+w (delete word) in command-line modes, a fix for backspace behavior in replace mode, and a fix for single-character mappings in insert mode.

It was inspired by the 4.4BSD make and include files, but aims to be portable and to conform to the GNU standards for Makefile variables and targets. Automake is a Perl script. The input files are called Makefile.am. The output files are called Makefile.in; They are intended for use with Autoconf. Automake requires certain things to be done in your configure.in. This package also includes the "aclocal" program. aclocal is a program to generate an 'aclocal.m4' based on the contents of 'configure.in'. It is useful as an extensible, maintainable mechanism for augmenting autoconf.


Release Notes: Many obsoletions were introduced or finalized. Support for 'perllibdir', which was a hack, was removed. Some test suite weaknesses and spurious failures were fixed.

The search field in the access right list has been replaced by a filter functionality. Reports now have a filter functionality to shrink the results shown in a report. You can create any directory hierarchy allowed by your filesystem, and when you "vault" a file to a destination directory, a subdirectory is also created to store metadata files containing the MD5 hash of the file, the date it was vaulted, and any notes (i.e., metadata) you want to save regarding the file.
