No download Website 22 Dec 21:56 bfsync 0.2.0

bfsync is a file-synchronization tool that allows you to keep a collection of big files synchronized on many machines. It is built around a FuSE filesystem, so repositories can be mounted and the contents can be viewed and modified via the mount point. A collection of commands like commit/push/pull/put/get can be used to control bfsyncs behaviour, and trigger data / history transfers between machines. In addition to synchronizing files between many machines, bfsync can also be used to store backups.

Release Notes: This release is an almost complete rewrite. It is no longer based on git, but uses an SQLite database to store the content. A FuSE filesystem is now used to view/edit the repository contents. The version history was improved, so it is possible to directly access old versions via the FuSE filesystem. This release also stores more metadata than the old one, so user and group, hardlinks, devices, and so on are supported. It provides code to interactively handle merge conflicts (for instance if the file X was independently modified in two checkouts).

Download No website 22 Dec 21:41 PolarSSL 1.1.0

PolarSSL is a light-weight cryptographic and SSL/TLS library written in C. PolarSSL makes it easy for developers to include cryptographic and SSL/TLS capabilities in their (embedded) applications with as little hassle as possible. Loose coupling of the components inside the library means that it is easy to separate the parts that are needed, without needing to include the total library. PolarSSL is written with embedded systems in mind and has been ported on a number of architectures, including ARM, PowerPC, MIPS, and Motorola 68000. The source is written to have very loose coupling, enabling easy integration of parts in other software projects. Very loosely coupled cryptographic algorithms for MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA1, SHA-256, SHA-512, AES, Camellia, DES, Triple DES, ARC3, and RSA are included.

Release Notes: This release introduces the CTR_DBRG random generator based on AES-256-CTR (NIST SP 800-90) and a generic entropy accumulator, next to the already existing HAVEGE random generator. The behaviour of x509parse_crt() has changed, though. It's backwards compatible with pre-1.1.0 code. For permissive parsing, you now have to use the return code differently; please read the documentation. A lot of simple error codes (1 and 2) inside the code were changed to 'real errors'. In addition, a lot of standing issues were fixed with regards to compatibility and customization.

queXF (pronounced kweks-eff) takes scanned paper forms generated using queXML and reads them. Operators can then verify that queXF has read the form correctly. Once this is done, the data collected can be exported in a fixed width ASCII file with a DDI data description. queXF can be used as an alternative to programs such as Cardiff Teleform and Remark OMR, in some situations. It removes the need to manually enter form data, therefore reducing error and fatigue. It does OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) on each form to determine if boxes have been filled, and can use ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) to determine what characters have been entered into boxes.

Release Notes: A bug with downloading data on some browsers has been fixed. Definition of bounding boxes is now set by using portions of the page instead of each corner of the box.

No download Website 22 Dec 01:45 uimaFIT 1.2.0

uimaFIT provides Java annotations for describing UIMA components which can be used to directly describe the UIMA components in Java code without the need for traditional UIMA XML descriptors. This greatly simplifies refactoring a component definition (e.g., changing a configuration parameter name). uimaFIT also makes it easy to instantiate UIMA components without using XML descriptor files by providing convenient factory methods. This makes uimaFIT an ideal library for testing UIMA components because the component can be easily instantiated and invoked without requiring a descriptor file to be created first. uimaFIT is very useful in research environments in which programmatic/dynamic instantiation of UIMA pipelines can simplify experimentation. For example, when performing 10-fold cross-validation across a number of experimental conditions, it can be quite laborious to create a different set of descriptor files for each run, or even a script which generates such descriptor files. uimaFIT is type system agnostic and does not depend on (or provide) a specific type system. This project has been superseded by the Apache uimaFIT project.

Release Notes: uimaFIT now depends on UIMA 2.3.1. CasUtil and JCasUtil provide the same set of functions for Cas/JCas. This release supports custom Feature Structure indexes and improves support for External Resources.
