Download Website 04 Jul 03:20 musl 0.7.12

Screenshot

musl is a new implementation of the standard library for Linux-based systems. It is lightweight, fast, simple, free, and strives to be correct in the sense of standards-conformance and safety. It includes a wrapper for building programs against musl in place of the system standard library (e.g. glibc), making it possible to immediately evaluate the library and build compact statically linked binaries with it.

Release Notes: New improvements to the dynamic linker (TEXTREL and RPATH) increase compatibility with applications which don't follow best practices for building and installing libraries. A bug in dlopen that affected only certain compiler versions (misuse of local variables with longjmp) is fixed. Support is added for the stdio_ext.h family of interfaces, making it easier to compile buggy gnulib programs that try to poke at stdio FILE internals, the random() function is now thread-safe, mprotect works around a bug in the Linux syscall, and uninitialized long double values are handled safely in printf.

No download Website 04 Jul 03:02 Seed7 2011-07-03

Screenshot

Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C++, and Java. In Seed7, new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used when it brings advantages and not in places when other solutions are more obvious. Although Seed7 contains several concepts of other programming languages, it is generally not considered as a direct descendant of any other programming language.

Release Notes: A new example program (ftpserv.sd7), an FTP server, was added. The type listener was improved to manage its accepted sockets. The function 'waitForRequest' was added to "socket.s7i" (it waits until a request can be read or an incoming connection is accepted). The functions 'eof' and 'hasNext' in "socket.s7i" were improved. The compiler and the makefiles were improved, such that executables only link graphic libraries (X11 or GDI), when necessary. The makefile mk_djgpp.mak, which allows compilation under DOS with DJGPP, was added. Documentation comments were added or improved in several files.

The program can also convert files from 3DS, MD3, Collada and other formats to X3D and pretty-print VRML and X3D files.

Release Notes: Everything can be rendered using GPU shaders, with per-pixel lighting, perfect specular highlights, and other effects. Bump mapping and shadow maps work with multiple light sources now, and correctly cooperate with all texture settings. New extensions to composite GPU shaders are implemented. Conversion of 3DS, Wavefront OBJ, Collada, and others to X3D 3.2 is implemented. Bump map textures referenced from 3DS and Wavefront OBJ are now handled. The X3D light sources "global" field is supported. Headlight can be customized by a new headlightNode extension.

Download Website 03 Jul 10:28 Window Listener 0.8

Screenshot

Window listener is a simple application that observes the windows that are active on your computer and records the time spent on each window. This lets you see how much time was spent on any given task, such as writing an email, reviewing a document, or editing a picture. Please note that the application also records key presses with the intention of using this data in the future to categorize tasks. The recorded tasks can be merged in case multiple windows of the same process are used to accomplish something. Tasks can also be deleted. The tasks are remembered when the program is closed.

Release Notes: Multiple database systems are supported, namely MySQL and SQLite. Tasks are now loaded on demand from the database. Task transtactions are recorded (but only to a file). A lightweight DI container handles dependencies. The controller supports request and response filters that can modify the HTTP request or response, and filters are provided for Basic and Oauth authentication.

Release Notes: This is a major release that changes the structure of the library so that it is no longer backwards compatible. A "camelcase" coding style is now used.
